DO I NEED PREVIOUS BARISTA/COFFEE SHOP EXPERIENCE BEFORE I BECOME A FARM CITY COFFEE FRANCHISE OWNER?
Yes. You must have an approved operating coffee shop general manage or partner. An ideal franchisee is an experienced barista with coffee shop management experience. But if you yourself do not have specific coffee experience you can partner with an experienced coffee shop/restaurant operator. This person must have at least 10% ownership interest in the business.
WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS?
Farm City Coffee requires minimum liquidity of $100,000 and a minimum net worth of
$250,000. The number of coffee shops you commit to develop, and the size of your territory will determine your total financial requirements.
DOES FARM CITY COFFEE OFFER FINANCING TO OPEN A COFFEE FRANCHISE?
Farm City Coffee does not provide financing. Please contact us for more assistance.
HOW MUCH IS THE FRANCHISE FEE AND INITIAL INVESTMENT?
The initial franchise fee is $35,000. The total estimated initial investment range is $171,900-$300,700 and includes the initial franchise fees, training costs, opening inventory, build out expenses, computer hardware and software, insurance, and three months of working capital. The investment varies for each Farm City Coffee location depending on the size of the location and the market you choose.
WHAT ARE THE ROYALTY AND MARKETING FEES?
The ongoing royalty fee is 6% of gross sales and the marketing fee is 2%.

Farm City Coffee is based out of Nashville, TN. Farm City Coffee’s expansion is initially focused on Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama. Whether or not you decide on a new free standing building or a conversion of an existing building, we have flexible coffee shop footprints to help you gain access to many real estate opportunities. Farm City Coffee has commercial real estate brokers that will work hand in hand with franchisees. This team will create a market plan, map and identify key trade areas to ultimately find suitable real estate locations for each future Farm City Coffee. Through site selections and market planning support, as well as an in house design team, we support you every step of the way.
WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING AND SUPPORT WILL I RECEIVE FROM FARM CITY COFFEE?
Our professional and experienced operating support team is with you before and after you open your doors. In addition to hands on management training and crew training before you open your store, Farm City Coffee franchisees receive new store opening support and consultation.
